Why would you want be a copy of someone else?!

ليش لازم تكونون نسخة من شخص ثاني؟!

Society has us all looking alike lately. If you look around, you'll see girls with the same hair color, same lipstick shade, same IT bag and/or shoes, even the same nose! Wait...this time its the same lips! 

When did being different became a bad thing? Why do you have to be a copy of someone else? Why can't you be YOU?

Yes there are trends, the whole world has them in different sectors, but it is also fine to take that trend and make it work for you. It is amazing to add YOUR twist to things. What you have that is different from anyone else is something special. It is even interesting. Yes not everyone is going to complement you on it, it's OK cause soon after you will see the same people that were criticising you for it are now copying you! 

"There is only one of YOU!" and I quote Iji on that.

So work with what you have that is different from others. 

Be Different. 

المجتمع في الفترة الأخيرة مخلينا كلنا نشبه بعض. لو تناظرون حولكم راح تلاحظون بنات بنفس لون الشعر، نفس درجة الروج، نفس الشنطة أو الجزمة ال "IT"، حتى نفس الخشم! لحظة... الحين كلهم نفس الشفايف! متى صار ان الواحدة تكون مختلفة شي غلط؟ ليش لازم نكون نسخة عن شخص ثاني؟ ليش ما تكونين إنتِ؟

نعم في موضة دارجة، في كل العالم ،في مختلف المجالات، بس عادي ان الواحد ياخذ الموضة الدارجة ويخليها تناسبه. مرة رهيب ان الشخص يضيف لمسته علي الأشياء. الشي اللي عندك ويختلف عن الجميع شي جداً مميز. وحتى يعتبر شي مثير للاهتمام. مو كل أحد راح يمدحك عليه نعم، وهذا اوكي لأن بعد فترة راح تشوفين نفس هذي الناس اللي كانت ناقدة عليك تقلدك!

فاهتمي للشي اللي يميزك عن الباقين.

وكوني مختلفة.

Sleeveless trench-coats are the trend this season and I thought to try out something different with this one. I paired it with another trend that was popular all summer which is distressed boyfriend jeans, a white shirt (which is a must have classic for me) and my python print ankle booties which I've had for a few years now. 

A tip for you guys: if you have good pieces in your wardrobe, no one cares how old it is! Not everything has to be new and trending!  

موضة الجاكيت "trench" اللي من غير أكمام مرة دارج هذي الموسم وفكرتب أجرب معاه شي غير. لبقته مع قطعة ثانية كانت هي كمان موضة في الصيف اللي هو الجينز "boyfriend" المشقق، قميص أبيض (قطعة كلاسيك مهمة عندي) و"booties" من جلد ثعبان موجود عندي له سنين. 

نصيحة لكم: إذا عندكم قطع كويسة في دولابكم، مو مهم كم لها عندكم! مو كل شي لازم يكون جديد وعالموضة!
