Design & Art event at Alaan Artspace

I got to attend the last day of "Design & Art" event that was organized by Auras Jewels at Alaan Artspace on Wednesday the 26th of Dec,2012.

It seems these creative girls don't just make great pieces, but they could also handle organizing an Event. Talk about Multitasking Mashalla!
If you've been to Alaan Artspace you'd know its a great space to play with. So I understand how the idea came to them, You'd be tempted to do so as well.
The participants in this event were : Threads by Razan AlAzzouni, Butterfly Abayas, Annada, Sharqi by Khloud, Kursi and the organizers themselves Auras Jewels.
These are a few shots of the event:

Creative scarves by Annada. These are artworks printed on the fabric,so you will be having a piece of both worlds; fashion and art.

Debuted at this event was the 1st collection of Kursi. These pieces would brighten up any room. They are to be kept in mind if you are looking for a statement piece.

Razan AlAzzouni proved that when it comes to your work, nothing should get in the way of executing it as you should. Though her foot was bandaged from a minor injury she sustained before the event, she was there herself, attending to the clients and talking to her neighboring designers Mashalla.
She even has us take some of her treats. We got to take a bite out of Razan AlAzzouni, literary.

Auras Jewels always has new things to offer when you visit their booth. They are the perfect place to  go to if you are looking to treat yourself with a gift.

They also debuted a line of vintage capes. Since its the season to get warm, give them a call. I love this girl for modeling the piece she was wearing for me.

This is a closer look of her, working the cape.

If you are looking for some Jalabiya or Thobe, the eastern provenance introduced us to Sharqi by Khloud.

This nice girl was rocking one of her mother's pieces. She was sweet enough to have me take a shot of her Thobe, which she styled with a scarf and a cross body Chanel bag.

I could only take a further picture of the Butterfly Abayas from between the installed artwork of Manal ALDowayan. They didn't like their pieces to be photographed closely and I respected their wish.

We were served great Arabic coffee by Yatooq. This is the answer to all those people who are looking for the right mix of Arabic coffee made easy and quick. Its the 2nd time I've had them at an event at Alaan Artspace

Now you can enjoy it wherever you go,
